Step 1: Visit the NSDL PAN Portal
Open the official PAN application page and select:
“Changes or Correction in existing PAN Data / Reprint of PAN Card”
Then choose the applicable category:
Step 2: Fill Basic Details

Submit the captcha and continue.
Step 3: Note the Token Number
After submitting the initial details, a temporary token number will be generated and sent to the registered email ID. Save this number for future reference.
Click on “Continue with PAN Application Form”.
Step 4: Select Document Submission Mode
Choose one of the following methods:

Step 5: Mention PANs to be Cancelled
Under the contact and PAN details section, select the option:
“Mention other Permanent Account Numbers (PANs), if any, inadvertently allotted”
Enter the duplicate/additional PAN numbers that need to be cancelled while retaining the primary PAN.
Step 6: Upload Supporting Documents
Upload the required documents, such as:

Step 7: Submit Declaration
Complete the declaration section and submit the form.
For companies, LLPs, and partnership firms, the form must be signed by an authorised signatory.
Step 8: Make Payment
Pay the applicable processing fee through:

After successful payment, an acknowledgement slip will be generated. Save and print it for future reference.
Step 10: Send Physical Documents (If Applicable)
If physical document submission is selected, print the acknowledgement, affix photographs where required, sign the form, and send it along with supporting documents to:
