No, you cannot change your PAN Card Number as holding of more than one PAN Card Number by individuals is illegal.

In case, an individual fail in this regard, government could send a legal notice and can impose a penalty amounting to Rs. 10,000.

But you can change all other information on your PAN Card including your name, photo etc.

I don't have so much knowledge about that don't share any unknown person to ur PAN card no.

the 5th Letter in my PAN cad is not of my surname, it is of my first name, hence I need to change my PAN Card number, what is the procedure for it?
e.g: Mary Dmello
PAN: AAAAM1234A
the M has to be changed to D.

Dear sir i had opened my demat in 2011 and then my pan card which was given was lost after an while and then i applied for new and i got new and that number is mentioned in all other documents accept my demat account so how what i can do to change my pan details in demat account or what is the procedure now to correct my pan card number in my demat account please suggest

My company got wrong PAN assigned under Firm category even though everything we filed under Company category all these years.
