Can I add the alias name on PAN Card?

I have 2 names (one real & other nickname). I want to investment money with Name 1, for which I need to submit my PAN Card copy (as a mandatory requirement). My PAN Card is with Name 2.

No, PAN Card doesn’t offer ability to add the alias name. You also cannot have 2 PAN Card’s, one with each name as its illegal for a person in India to have 2 PAN Numbers.

You have to choose one name and use it for PAN Card and all your investments.
