If I purchase IPO and same day I cancel it, will my blocked money unblocked immediately?

It depends on your bank. It shouldn't take lot of time and the bank should unblock your application amount in a day or two.

Hi, I also cancelled the IPO request after accepting the mandates yesterday, but the amount is still not unblocked. Payment was done via UPI (Axis bank). The mandate end date is 30 December. Will I have to wait till 30 Dec or is there any chance of getting refund earlier?? I applied using Gpay

same thing happened with me .. i applied for ipo and cancelled it on same day but amount is still blocked. My account is in axis bank

I had authorised one mandate for an IPO and soon it was cancelled. Today the broker confirmed the cancellation but on the google pay to my surprise it was appearing in pending ( processing) and completed (authorization failed) tab. I have checked with the bank statement and the amount is still blocked. Also I received a sms stating, “ The UPI-Mandate of Rs.15000/- could not be cancelled due to VH.

Applied in happiest mind ipo and cancelled my application on same day but amount is still blocked. Both broker and bank not able to help. what should i do .. will i receive it after mandate end date ?

Am deleted the Application ( Mandate) on same date of applied.payment done through upi mandate.

But still amount is not unblocked ...can anyone tell me if we cancelled the application before closing of bid date..how many days it will take for unblocking lien amount.my bank is axis.

Ipo cancelled the same day on 7th sep 21
Today 11th still funds blocked.. Axis Bank said they don't have access, broker said they don't have access. Both pointing each other..
Whom should we ask for or is there a guideline rules..
Or is it their father's money so that they wish when ever they want to

Same is the problem with me. Applied for Angel Broking on 22nd Sept. and cancelled on 24th sept.
Bank showed the status of cancellation as successful. But till date the lien has not been lifted by Bank !
Mailed at Bank and also at angel.ipo@linkintime.co.in but no response till now.
Also, please if someone could explain what "Mandate Date" is would be of great help ?
