Compositedge Demat Account Opening Charges

Compositedge charges zero AMC or annual maintenance charges. The broker allows depository account with CDSL. You have to pay Rs 400 for opening an account with the broker.   1. 1. How much fee Compositedge charge for Demat account opening?

    Compositedge charges zero account opening charges. You only have to pay a one-time fee of Rs 400 while opening the account. Annual maintenance charges of Compositedge is also zero. Although, you have to pay transaction charges for debit and credit of securities from and to the Demat account.


  2. 2. How does Compositedge complete in-person verification while being outstation?

    In-person verification for NRIs is completed through a web-cam. Additionally, the clients can also submit either self-attested utility bills and photocopies of address proof.


  3. 3. Is IPV a mandatory process by Compositedge?

    The resident investors can complete the in-person verification either through web-cam or visiting the Compositedge branch. If you are out-station, you can submit self-attested utility bills or self-attested copy of address proof.


  4. 4. How can clients use shares in Demat account for margin in the F&O segment?

    IIFL is the clearing member of Compositedge for clearing the trades. The clients can utilize margin against shares in the Demat account by taking the pledge with the clearing partner IIFL.

    But, for moving shares from the Demat account whether in or out, you have to pay charges. The broker charges Rs 20/ and -+12 per order request as a CDSL charge for pledging and unpledging of shares.

    You have to send a request mail for pledging of shares. Unpledging of shares must be one day prior to placing orders to sell stocks.


  5. 5. How to Close Demat Account with Compositedge?

    Here is the process to close the account with the broker:

    • Download the Account Closure form from the 'Download Center' in the Compositedge Website
    • Take a printout of the Demat Account Closure PDF form
    • Fill the details and attach a self-attested copy of PAN card
    • Send the form to the broker, along with unused DIS booklet, to the address provided in the form
