The issue application size is too big, and the returns are not much clear at this moment. May be some more discussions and clarifications will give better insight.

However, the small investors can alternatively buy IRB Infra stock as it shall be big beneficiary after this IPO.

GUYS I AM NOT SAYING THAT MONEY WILL BE BLOCKED, I AM OF THE OPINION THAT ITS BOT TYPE PROJECTS SO WHAT THE TRUST WILL GET IS THE RIGHT TO COLLECT THE TOLL FOR 16 YEARS AND AFTER 16 YEARS THE ROADS WILL BE PROPERTY OF THE GOVERNMENT. SO ITS NEITHER DEBT NOR PURE EQUITY INSTRUMENT. WE CAN ALWAYS SELL IT ON THE LISTING DAY AND LISTING WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN 14 DAYS NOT WITHIN 7 DAYS

Is it true that, we wont get back the capital ,at the end of the project completion ?
Is it like FD, but wont get the principle but only the interest ?
Please clarify.

I think the message is wrong..it is getting traded in exchanges NSE & BSE..so you can sell and retrive your capital..kindly note this is not an FD more like CPSE ETF (example)...only thing worries is listing with gain or not ..and allotement is prorata so minimum appl 10,00000 mean will we get 2 lot 2*5000 units or minimum trade lot 5000/? need to see the subscription

IRB will use about Rs 3,350 crore for repaying the external debt of the underlying SPVs, and the balance of about Rs 1,700 crore would be utilised to pay back the sponsors.

The InvIT will offer 12 per cent yield to mutual funds and 10 per cent to HNIs post taxes.

The six assets have shown a CAGR of 11.4 per cent, he said.

This is a high risk IPO in a trust. So large lot size is justified..
10.2. Septa |   Link |  Bookmark | April 26, 2017 11:20:36 AM (4000+ Posts, 4600+ Likes)
actually SEBI is doing good job by protecting small investor by increasing the minimum amt to 10 lakhs. This product is good replacement for FD it triple AAA rating instrument and all dividend for unit is tax free. also the return is 12% assumed(tax free) compared to 7% (taxed).

anyone with FD should switch to such funds for secure return
