I think 1 share strategy will work here. I am expecting the retail ER to be around 13%

About record date, I think, they are yet to announce the record date. Buyback was announced on 18th, it will take around 2 to 3 weeks to get share holders approval. Since 3 weeks are over, I think they will announce it in the coming days.

My guesstimate on Retail ERs for the current buybacks:

Anand rathi wealth: 3%
Sharda Motor Industries Ltd: 13%
Ajanta Pharma: 10%
Bajaj Consumer Care: 9%

@manresh bro By postal ballot procedure a company take a voting mandate from shareholders for a specific task approval like BUYBACK OR ANY other Corporate Action.
It's just a formality. Almost 95% or more time company's decision approved.
It's my opinion and knowledge.
Rest many intelligent and experienced brothers should describe in details.

@UKS, Yes, I received the payment on 15th April.

In the email they have written this -

"... if the fund transfer instruction is rejected by the Reserve Bank of India or relevant Bank, due to any reasons, then the amount payable to you will be transferred to your broker’s settlement bank account for onward transfer to you"

So check with your broker.

In my opinion, priority must be given to shareholders holding one share
Same case was in bajaj auto
In sharda quantity of shares is also huge and shareholders are less

In Tips Industries DII and FIIs have increased their holdings.
DIIs from 0.93% in Dec 2023 to 8.17% in Mar 2024
FIIs from in Dec 2023 0.85% to 2.09% in Mar 2024

Looks like there is something good coming, so those who brought Tips should not worry much.

I did not seen Buyback Option is opened for TIPS , IS it private to only few Large shareholder or this is wrong announcement to boost the trade . Something not seen from April 22nd until today on buy back

Taxes on buyback profits is already paid by the company.
Just show this one as an exempt income

Suppose I have 2 accounts (differnet PAN)

On 19 April i purchase some shares from account 1 for this buyback which was sellted on april 22 (record date)

But on april 22 i transferd all shares of this company to account 2 using cdsl easiest facility which gets transfed on same day april 22 evening

so on april 22 both account have this shares , then who is eligible for this buyback account 1 or 2 ? and how?

Just wanted to know, how do you maintain 10 accounts. You need to have 10 different bank accounts and demats. Also need to pay yearly charges etc

Based on the share holding pattern for the last year (Mar 2023)
Retail ER = 1.03%
General ER = 0.87%
So it looks that it will be like the Dwarikesh Sugar Industries buyback which was bad.
