I OPENED DMAT A/C WITH SHAREKHAN. CHANGE OF PASSWORD ON EVERY 14 DAYS IS BORING AND FORGETTING. THEY SHOULD DEVELOP SUCH A SYSTEM OF ONE TIME PASSWORD.

I am residing in baroda and I have 4 d mat account with sharekhan. I am fully satissfied with the service and staff.I have no problem in software and very efficient work.

Earlier I have account with reliance money but there speed is very slow and software is also not easily understandable and while asking any problem tere staff can not reply as they are also new.

I've sharekhan a/c for me since Feb/Mar 2007. It's a good online trading a/c. Though i've not used any other online trading, and few of the above complaints i've also faced once or twice, still i feel sharekahn is good. Because of the reasons, all the features are available with this, comission is not anything big when compared to Reliance Money/India Buills. Ofcourse ICICIDirect & Geojit are charging more, they claim they're more secure/give more info, end of the day you need to have good customer support. If you dont have to go customer support frequently, then it means, you dont face much problems. Once or twice my money also did not transfered, couple of times, for me also customer support did not connected. Everywhere these things can happen. Unless it's not repetetive, it's fine. Ive not faced them again and again. Also, we get proper and good response most of the time. I can apply IPO, do Shortsell, SquareOff just few seconds before market close, even when you start trading with high amount, they allow you in -ve.

VERY VERY GOOD ASPECT OF SHAREKHAN:
They allow eeven upto 50k - 1 lakh in Margin for couple of days (THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT GOOD ASPECT I FEEL). If your a/c is expecting some money in next 1 or 2 days, theyn you can have your Margin in -ve till that date.

Eg: you bought for 5 lakhs today Reliance Natural and Sold it next day with some good profit. I dont pay that 5 lakhs during the obligation date, since i'm going to receive that amount the next day. I dont know whether this is a good aspect every online trading port is allowing. But, i make some good profit thru this feature.

Before 4months my father also opened, 1 month back on my mother's name also we've opened to just apply IPO's. We're planning to open in my brother & my wife name also. With that, we'll be having 5 Sharekhan a/c's. I dont know about other places. In Chennai, their suppor is good. I strongly recommend Sharekhan.

I ma dealing with sharekhans for last six months.Ifound them reasonable and friendy and going to open another account shortly.

I am new to Sharekhan. Till now I consider it better than ICICI direct.com in areas of brokerage and fast trade terminal. Though I am told that ICICI gives on line banking full security as compared to sharekhan and others.The rep of Sharekhan Mr Sanjeev Chopra, Asstt. Manager very nicely explained me every bit of the trading while imparting training to trade on line to me. May God bless him with all success.

Sharekhan is the excellent Demat Account. They have got the best services to deliver as compared to ICICI Direct, Indiabulls or 5 paisa. I have experienced them all.
Sharekhan is too fast and excellent and brokerage also quite low. Fast Customer care services and Fine Dial and Trade service.

Sharekhan is too worst in customer service. sometimes it also fails when you make online transfer from your bank to dp account. The money will be debited from your bank and does not reeach your sharekhan account!! till you have huge free time to call ccustomer service (Almost a day!). And no wonder you miss your favourtie IPO. This happened twice to me. Wait for almost 1 hour when u call customer service and after that u get answer will be try our best at the end of the trading session. The story rrepeats for almost 2-3 days. And NEVER APPLY ONLINE IN MUTUAL FUNDS WITH SHAREKHAN. Even if it s NFO they will give you the units rate less.

Dont go for sharekhan later u will regret for doing so...

Sharkhan IVR and Telephone customer care are not at all good. It is very difficult to connect these facilities.

any feedback on Geojit? They are offering a very cheap deal. 0.25% for trading and no initial charges. I need the feedback on the platform. If its OK then I might switch to it.

Hi I am using speed trade for the past 26 months . its very good but at the time of huge sale it fails, second drawback is it disconnects u sometime without any reason .

awsome...im using sharekhan classic account since 1 and half year....service was good...online ipo is also better one....their long term investment researche is mindblowing...also planning to swich form classic a/c to sharekhan speed trade....

I am customer of sharekhan from past 2 years.
Whenvever there is a sell off in market sharekhan will be down. Its even down on IPO subscription closing(last)days.

I dont know abt other online trading sites, but i feel sharekhan is not a good online trading site. Their trading platform is worst now a days (down time is more than up time)

Their customer chat application is a big joke :-)

I have very bad experince of Sharekhan.Once in PMS account i was promised to give 40% return but they gave me only rs.5000 after 4 months on Rs 500000/

2nd tpme in offline trading account theh made my rs.200000 to rs 90000 in less then three months when market indez reached 15000.Baroda & Mumbai staff are not able to give satisfactory answers.

1.) Is it possible to keep Limit Order for Newly Listing Stocks on the Listing Day before the market starts, around 9.30 AM?--Am not able to keep Limit order for new stocks on the Listing day before the market opens in ICICI.

2.) How about selling stocks in Spot? Is it possible to sell any stock in Spot for immediate cash trading?

Any other Advantages of ShareKhan over ICICI in terms of Trade tools?
