I i am sivalingaiah, i have been trading in many companies from past 3 yrs of my trading experience in Equity, Commodities. i have changes many companies, who gives wronge promises, from last 6 months i am trading in a company, who gives good exposure, good software,mobiles alerts for buy/sell, and great thing is 1paise brokerage on no demand which icici 0balance account opening.
if any body got wex in your trading company, i simply suggest the company where i am trading.

Please don't open account in ICICI DIRECT BECAUSE it is too slow during market hours, and brokerage is tooo highhhh . and it sometimes hang when you pick a share in intraday when one recommend you to buy . you loose money if one open a/c in ICICI. eg : as said by Akshay. One can open demate a/c in Indiainfoline . it has Trader terminal for high volume day traders very fast and reliable and brokerage is .05 pisa in intraday and around .40 paisa to .50 paisa in delevery. I am now closing icici demate and switch to indiainfoline.

Please advise the total charges for opening a 3-in-one account.
What is the minimum opening balance & to maintain it monthly or quarterly.

Do not open account in ICICI security. If you purchase as 1 share of rupess 10. then you have to pay minimum 15 rupees brokerage for that. see 10 is the share rate and 16 is brokerage. As My bad experince with ICICI, I have found, its hard to login. If you are a intra day trader, You should forget your money. Very worst service. Only benifit is we have SB account with them for every demat accounts.


Go for Geojit, sharekhan or any one but don't go for icici

Do not open demat account in ICICI if you are NRI. Very creepy service.

Even i am struggling to close the account after getting fed up after opening and operating it.

I come to know from your site that 3 accounts are required to be open for online trading..i have applied for ICICI demat and trading account opening..i do not want to open saving account with icici bcoz i already have salary account with icici bank ...will that be enough for trading or i will have to open saving account?PLs revert ASAP..

the server of ICICIDirect is too slow,when ever you want the quote it always says the server is too busy and it starts trading(margin trading) from 10:00 am which is too much irritating.

I would like to know the difference between transaction charges and brokerage charges....

And also current charges of buy and sell the shares...

Pathetic service. I would suggest to go for India infoline or Motilal Oswal if you have any thoughts of getting into DEMAT account. Dont merely go for ICICI direct by looking at its tag name. Moreover the brokerage that they charge is highest among its competitors, & it will never make you feel that you have achieved value for your money.

Firstly its not easy to get Login id & pwd. Thanks to my consistent hardwork, that i was able to manage id & pwd after marathon effort for 3 months.

Would like to give you an example:-

I cudnt buy SATYAM shares when stock was @ Rs.9-Rs.11, the site responded so slowly that it was immovable. So, i had to be dependent on others for a stock purchase inspite of having a DEMAT account. Now i have understood that during lows & highs of market you cant extract the max. benefit with ICICI Direct.

Bottom Line:- Dont go for ICICI Direct, even it remains the last demat service provider on earth.

I am ICICI direct user for last 8 years and small investor . I would suggest dont use ICICI direct even though it is big name . Apart from cost its service is quite bug prone & you dont get any resoultions to issue.
You may get exception like bea.jolt.ServiceException & Slow response of site when you want it most.
Trading platform lack many features.
Try something else.

Just to let all you people know about the "FRAUD" activity your bank indulges in.
I applied for a Demat account to which a Agent appeared with a Blank form and wanted Signatures on it for the application...Upon the verification agent showing up i noticed that the Agent has FORGED my signatures under the section which states having my Savinghs account to be linked with it...On trying to contact the sales people no body will answer the phone and your verification agent himself admiutted to this being the 3rd or fourth occasion where this has been committed by your bank...
Also some persons(who i am not related to with any stretch of Imagination") details have been "smartly" included in my application to have an account opened at ICICI account.....Must make people aware of the FRAUD activity this bank has been commiting..No wonder4 there are Absolutely limited means to address the concerns...I am left with no choice but to Forward a Copy and My experience to the LOCAL MEDIA... GOOD job ICICI no wonder you are a LEADING bank

Hello 'Office of Head Service Quality' (Mr. K Raghavender),

I have sent an email already with subject line " Comments from Site". I have just now received acknowledgement of the email that I sent to coo@icicidirect.com Monday, January 12, 2009 as my emails to head quality service couldn't be delivered.

So far I have received very good service from ICICI Bank's NRI division and I don't hesitate to acknowledge that in this public forum. So my request is 'Please don't force your loyal customers to look for other banks'. We need total banking/investment solution and I am sure that service provided by ICICI Bank Group is more than enough for those needs.

Waiting with infinite patience.

I am facing problem in opening an NRO Demat account with ICICI Direct and waiting for almost 2 months and don't know what is actually going on :(

I submitted a filled in form (Form Number: xxxxxx), a check of 4000 INR (from my ICICI NRO SB account no. xxxxx) along with all necessary documents (verified by ICICI Direct employee) for opening an NRO demat account with ICICI Direct Guwahati Branch in mid November, 2008 when I visited India.

They told me that I have to close my existing resident account and then the new applicaiton will be processed.

I filled in account closing form (both trading and demat account) and submitted it to responsbile persons one (trading account closing form) to ICICI Direct, Guwahati and another (demat account closing form and in-tact Pledge booklet) to ICICI Bank Guwahati.

Current status: Unknown, ICICI Direct's responsible persons are unreachable

Their customer care doesn't respond (always issues a ticket no. but never responds) and even email to their Head, quality of service is broken. One can't send email there. Really frustrating. Don't know why these guys can't be honest and tell frankly about their problems. My experience with ICICI Bank NRI division has been so far very good. But ICICI Direct's service is very poor (I should say unacceptable).

If any one of ICICI Direct is watching this forum, then please help me. It is really frustrating to see you guys behaving like like this.

I have opened demat a/c with sharekhan.It completed 1 yr. What client acqisition exe said is totaly different after entering in to it.No support till date.I'm learning from my friends & from net.Already lost by means of brokerage.
Loosing in market is different.But giving one promise & violating is crime.Kindly suggest me which online broker is best.My kind advise is not to open a/c with sharekhan.
Now all my friends are telling why you opened a/c with sharekhan since they also faced the same problem.I decided by seeing in net.

I am having icici demat account.I suggest u all that never open account in icici demat account because icici never give tips regarding share market what to buy what to sell.All other companies will provide the tips so my suggestion is that.So choice is ours.
