Cut the Crap... what you guys are talking about..
The site looks average on the first sight, but is more that that. i guess you guys are there not for trading, you should be using money.rediff.com

Service from HDFC is excellent, and if you continue your account for more than 3 years you become privileged customer, where you are given account representative. who takes care off all your issues.
Have you heard such service anywhere??

And please stop posting your demat acount number. you won't get your password here. call customer service and provide your details. new password will be mailed to you.

I had applied for an online trading separately, since i already have my Dmat account. It has been more than 3 weeks now and i have not received any mail regarding the status.it is mentioned that they will activate my account in ten days.I am really disappointed. They call me dozens of time a day asking to open an account. When it is done then wont even bother to reply to our query.

Please do not go for HDFC Securities. They have a lot of hidden costs and by the time you realize this you will end up paying more than what you have earned through stocks.

Hi,
I have been maintaining the DMAT account with HDFC Sec for the past 4 years and have faced so many issues.... I am thinking of moving to Reliance money or icici direct
1) No proper portfolio management
2) Charges are too high... so many hidden charges
3) Not good for Intra day transactions
4) Not good for Futures and Options...
5) Portfolio doesn't reflect the DMAT shares and needs to be updated manually...
6) Site is not user friendly
It is the one of the WORST... please think before you open an account
