There is no refund as such in ASBA. If u applied using asba a block is placed in the bank ac balance which is just removed if no allotment.If u get allotmnt such amount is debited.

hi abhi....in my case the amount has been unblocked by asba not showing in lien but still not credited to bank account...its been more than 4 days and bank has no answer

You can take prepaid brokerae pack and reduce your ur brokerage singnificantly. Its valid for 15 years. The higher package u take the less u pay. The amount is debited in advance for the pack, Like if u pay and take 50k pack the brokerage reduces to .25 for delivery. Still i didnt find it much useful to pay such big amount in advance.

Well apart from brokerage charges everythings fine and u can do things seamlessly liek apply for IPO Well not to talk about RM and customer service they will just Pester to meet u but only for their gains.They wll harass u to any extent to meet u and make u invest in ici pru life policies or mutual funds.Answer a firm no if u dont want.Or some MF advised r good actually.In my case my RM advised me against investing in a banking MF though i did on my own n voila iam sittin on a profit on 3k. How i wish i had invested more against his advice.
