Friends, I bought 100 shares of IOC on 18 th October 2016 as I read that the record date was 19 October and ex bonus date was 18 October. My share broker also said that I will get bonus. For these shares. Will I get bonus for these 100 shares ? I would appreciate if someone gives the correct position on this.

Hi Chockalingam,

Yes IOC announced Bonus share and the record date was 19th Oct. If the shares bought was updated in demat account on or before 19th. U will get bonus shares. But this time they changed ex bonus date so it was little confusion for everyone.. check your luck
