Nucleus software did not have very good Sep'21 quarter result. Share price was supported by buyback announcement which was already announced before announcement of results.
There is the possibility of +10% share price fall just after the record date. Suggest everyone to consider this possibility and decide accordingly.
IPO Mitr, Yes, I agree with your views. Hopefully, the final AR is likely to be more in the non retail category (holding shares worth more than 2 lakhs on the Record Date). Your suggestion is also to be considered while a decision is taken in this regard. Thank you n all the best.

As per SEBI guidelines, Small shareholders are eligible for 15% quota or as per their holding % which ever is higher.
so in this case , i think there is no difference between small( less than 2 Lakh) or bigger investors(who own more than 2 Lakh)
hope it clarifies

Avinash garu, In case of Nucleus only, I still believe that the AR will be hopefully more in other than small shareholders category due to non participation/ negligible participation by the promoters in the buyback. Even if I am proved wrong, I wholeheartedly accept without any scope for second thought. Dhanyavaadamulu Uppalapati Vaariki.
@KSRK sir: you can try participating in nucleus buyback with two different accounts , one with retail amount and other with general category :) if you have funds for that. So it will give you chances on both sides, whichever side AR comes better.
@KSRK: so 240 shares means in retail and 355 will be probably in general category if price stays above 570 till friday, so already you will be having both. Thanks. we will have better understanding then later after buyback is done.
Speculative investment in Buybacks doesn't always work. Fundamentally, one should be very careful in investing in a company just for buyback when the recent performance of the company has not been satisfactory.
IPO Mitr ji, I wholeheartedly n completely agree with your observations. Though you have already cautioned me to be selective earlier, yet I have purchased shares of almost all the companies who declared the buyback. Though there may not be net loss, yet the already earned profit in this regard is likely to be set off against the possible loss in Star Cements, Goldiam International, Nucleus Software,……,……,……,…….,……etc., due to unexpected downfall both in the AR n CMP. Had I been attentive, the position might have been better. As long as the market conditions are good, we earned reasonably good profits. But now? It all depends upon recouping of the good market conditions where the prices of the shares bounce back. Let us wait and see with out becoming panic n loosing patience/ heart. Thank you.
We all will continue to learn from each other's experiences. I am sure we all will do well together in longer term. Our hard work will definitely prevail.

IPO Mitr ji, Desirable awareness of Retail Investors who are purchasing reasonably good quantity of shares for all the maximum possible accounts to tender for buyback may also be one of the reasons for the deterioration of the AR in the recent days. In addition, the pressure of selling the unaccepted shares in the market after the buyback is also very much increasing, the result of which is non sustainability of the share price. These are all may contribute significantly to the possible aversion to the Buybacks in the near future. Thank you.
Value your additional point of view.........There can be multiple line of thinking for change in stock price especially during buyback period. I really appreciate all views especially yours, considering your close and longer associations with buybacks.
Since there were discussions and recommendations for members to apply in non retail with more than 2 lacs shares in their demat accounts on record date which could be quite a substantial investment for lot of Retailers moving to Non-retail, I shared my views on risk associated with that approach and mentioned that this line of thinking can potentially backfire for a stock like Nucleus software.
I am sure each one of us will decide what is best for them based on their own situation.
Thank you for your kind consideration to express your valuable n welcoming views.

KSRK ji, as per the draft letter of buyback of Nucleus software, it is clearly mentioned that the Promoter and Promoter Group have expressed their intention vide their letters dated Thursday, September 23, 2021 and Friday, September 24, 2021, to participate in the Buyback and may tender up to an aggregate maximum number of 1,08,710 Equity Shares or such lower number of shares in accordance with the provisions of the Buyback Regulations/terms of the Buyback. Hence chances of more AR in non retail quota is not feasible.

Jaiswal ji, I believe that the quantum of 1,08,710 shares is very much negligible when compared to around 18.5 lakhs available for buyback in non retail category. If i am wrong, please correct me. I don’t mind even if I am proved wrong. Thank you.
