Very unreliable API connectivity. There was one day when orders were not going through from market open till about 11:45 AM, and I thought this might have been a one-off event. However, it seems to be indicative of more systemic technical issues with their platform, because more recently, I noticed that while developing an application using their API platform, connectivity was available for one particular instance of a command, but throughtout the rest of the day it was throwing up the same set of errors, implying no API connectivity with the programmer through most of the day. Best avoided by anyone serious about developing and deploying an algo strategy through a broker API. The API is free of cost, but there are hidden costs in terms of inability to use the API itself.
