Someone please explain ...If i held 20 shares on record date, i get entitled to render 1 share under buyback...Do i need to retain 19 shares or i can sell them anytime? Before 20 sept or after 1 october?

Acceptance rate will be better than Entitlement rate. Please submit all the twenty shares for buyback. The unaccepted shares will be subsequently credited to your d mat account. Then sell them according to your choice of price. If you still want to render only one share, yes you can. You can sell the balance of 19 shares at anytime even before 20/9 or even after 01/10 according to your choice. All the best.
