No as of now, but yes around few months ago. I hold 1 share of each 4 companies for Buyback purpose. But none have been accepted. So now I don't know why it was rejecting? usually, I won't happen like this at least 1 share must be accepted.
I believe there is an internal misuse is going on with many companies' buyback because recently Finance Act (2) 2024 has said Income from Buyback will be taxed as Dividend Income and will not be Exempt Income as like earlier.
So, I believe many promoters are converting their business profit with Buyback as Exempt Income until new amendment are start applicable from 1st Oct, 2024.
