Total no of shares to be bought back=60 lacs approx
Small investors quota=15% of total shares= 9 lacs approx
As per shareholding pattern as on 31/12/22 uploaded in bse website
No of small investors holding hgs shares amounting below 2 lacs=66,269 which is way below 9 lacs
Hence 1 share strategy will surely work here.
I think this is the most accurate way of determining chances of single share acceptance in buyback.

Does anybody know if the promoters are taking part in the buyback?

PROMOTERS HAVE ALREADY EXPRESSED THEIR INTENTIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROCESS AS MENTIONED IN PAGE 13-14 OF SPECIAL BUYBACK RESOLUTION DATED 31/01/23 UPLOADED IN BSE WEBSITE.

I just saw it, it seems to the the same as whats uploaded on chittorgath website. But it just says they have an option. Where have they expressed their intention?

Absolutely childish question.If you sell on monday then what the company will buy from you.To participate in buyback you cannot sell the applied share till offer close date.After offer close shares will be locked in your account.After finalisation unaccepted shares will be credited back in your account.

hey @RONNE LEWIS your view on HGS Buyback acceptance is REALLY HELPFUL. Can you express same about SYMPHONY Buyback? is 1 SHARE STRATEGY WORK FOR SYMPHONY BUYBACK? Retail Quota for symphony buyback is 1.5 Lac shares and as per BSE website data total retail/public shareholders are 52K approx(till March end).

Everyone's view on Symphony Buyback and One Share Strategy for Symphony Buyback is highly appreciated.

Yes you are eligible in buyback if you bought today and sell monday.
I done like this in triveni eng buyback.
I purchased before ex-date and sold on ex-date.
Thn purchased again after few days.
I m eligible full quantity which i holds on record date. Applied full. Accepted full qty.

In symphony single share acceptance work surely. But ER looks small like 4%.

What's your thought after shareholders approval it will go up or down? I hope they don't cut buyback price from 2k. What is usual scenario after voting? on stock price?
