if a NRI staying in USA having some 5 -6 company''s physical shares with him since 25 yrs.. he wants to get it Demat and sell it off in India. he is having NRE Saving account with 1 bank in India.

so does he need to open a PIS account also for selling the shares in india what he holds or just a normal trading & demat account will do the work for him.
