I am NRI having 3-in-1 NRE Demat Trading account with HDFC Securities. Brokerage is 0.55 percent (taxes extra).
1. Can I open zerodha trading account & link with existing 3-in-1 account?
2. At the end of each financial year, HDFC provides me a copy of Capital Gains Statement for the financial year. Will it be affected if I open zerodha trading account?

Hi Mr Kailas,

Yes you can open a trading account with any broker offering NRI trading service and link it to HDFC NRI Bank Account.

The cheapest and best broker offering NRI trading services in India is ProStocks. You could checkout ProStocks NRI Brokerage Calculator at:

http://www.prostocks.com/nri-brokerage-calculator.html

Zerodha charge brokerage of Rs 200 and they also need Rs 25,000 deposit. With ProStocks, there is no deposit required and brokerage is just Rs 100.
