The price band of NBCC's initial public offer (IPO), through which the government aims to sell a 10% stake to raise Rs 120 crore, has been fixed in the range of Rs 90-106 and will hit the markets between March 23 and 27.
"The government will dilute 10% [stake]... Rs 120 cr to be raised by NBCC PO," Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath told reporters today after an Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) took a decision in this regard.
HUDCO TAXFREE INTEREST IS EQUIVALENT TO 12% TAXABLE INTEREST. IN OTHER WORDS,EACH BOND OF RS.1000/- WILL GIVE TAX BENEFIT OF RS.16.9 FOR 15 YEARS=240 RS.
Bhaiyon hume itna loss aur dard diya hai NMDC, SJVNL, NHPC, SCI etc. but Phir bi dil hai Hindustani, hum har issue me Coal India Dhundte hain. Dekhten hai ye hame kitna dubota hai. Issue to hum bharenge hi.
bhai.. i do not know about other PSU's... but i m telling u .. stick to SJVNL... its a gr8 company.. just see the dividend yield.. its project execution record and its annual report .. just accumulate this stock.
See the financials, you have cash balance of Rs. 108 per share already! Th fair value is around 275 and issue price of anything below 250 is worth applying!
If you counter me, don't just rant.. give me facts! If I am wrong, i'll accept it politely !
5% discount retail may be your profit .If issue is fixed around 170/- then for retail it will be around 162/= i.e rs 8.00 per share. If you apply full then i.e 2 lakh then you may be isssued shares of 1 lakh rupess as issue is not supposed be subscribed more than 2 times. Rs.1 lakh means around 16 lot if issue size per lot is around 6 thousand( 1 lot may be of 35 shaes). If around 10PM on listing day market price is around 166/=(not likely to go below that ),then you can still have around 2700/= profit ,not bad
Going by the size, price band is likely in the range of Rs. 200-220 amd 5% discount for retail investors. This price looks aggressive and may leave no chance for listing gains.

During the last 5 years all most all IPOs 90 out of 120 have given hihgly negative return to the invstors. IPO pricing should be made reasonable leaving a marging of atleast 5% profit for the ionvestors. What happened in ONGC Had the price been 270 or 275 the issue would have been subscribed at least 10 times.Even the public sector promoters are like private promoters. This should be changed.IPOs should be reasonably priced rather than trying to loot the investors
