IPO Grey Market Premium (IPO GMP) is the premium at which the IPO shares are traded in the grey market. Kostak Rate is the rate at which you can sell the IPO application for a fixed price irrespective to you get IPO allotment or not.

I assume this is meant for promoters.
If you are telling this by reading point C - page no. 89 of RHP (RED HERRING PROSPECTUS as follows:
(c) Details of Equity Shares locked in for one year:
The post-Offer shareholding of our Promoter, in our Company, i.e., an aggregate of 3,028,835,198 Equity
Shares, shall be locked-in for a period of one year from the date of Allotment or for such other time as may be
required in terms of Regulation 36(b) of the SEBI ICDR Regulations. Our Promoter is exempt from the
requirement of minimum Promoters’ contribution in terms of Regulation 34(b) of the SEBI ICDR Regulations.

Please make sure of before making such horrible words at such blogs.

I am sorry, if I have made any mistake in reading or in assumption. Except this out of 537 pages of RHP, its no where mentioned on public offering as locked-in. Please bring it to the notice, if some one have come accross, with this type of details and proofs.

Please take following information a must in your IT Returns for all those who are selling application of 1 lac to 2 lacs in grey market

1. Since The sale proceed settled on day of listing ,all profits by sale of shares by your broker in actual will in your books,irrespective of at what amount you have agreed to sell the application to the broker.
2. You have to disclose in your IT Return for all IPO applications made above 1 lac applying for shares of a company floating IPO (irrespective of shares allotted NIL or of any amount)

It is advised to consult your C.A. For this to avoid any future problems

Formula is simple. If you have applied for ''X'' no of shares then you get 150+(X-150)*.41
For 2250 shares it will be around 970 shares
