Lol. This analysis deserves a Noble prize

as per FY 2019-20, Bector's EPS is ₹ 5.31. If we take CMP as 595, PE comes to around 112.
Does not it looks expensive compared to Britannia (PE 50), Nestle (PE86)?

Take HY EPs of FY 21, it's PE comes around 70, and this is the PE given to consumption stock by the market. Jubilant food PE is above 200.

I know EPS are ₹ 6.26(FY 2017-18), ₹ 5.78(FY 2018-19), ₹ 5.30 (FY 2019-20), ₹ 6.78 (H1 2020-21).

Revenue from operations were ₹ 765 Cr (FY 2019-20) and ₹ 439 Cr (H1 2020-21). That means revenue did not increase significantly but EPS increased more than double!!


Now, I am surprised how the company managed to make EPS more than double compared to it's previous period when the entire country was in locked down at least for 2 months Apr & May .

The most appropriate peer is Britannia because 60% of Mrs Bector's Food revenue is coming from biscuit segment. Even in DRHP and RHP, the mentioned peers were Nestle, Britannia, Prataap Snacks, Parle , Anmol etc. It's QSR restaurants McDonald & others were also closed for 2-3 months in locked down. So, making this double EPS is not justified and we should discount it a little bit. Also comparing it with Jubilliant Foods will be unjustified.

But, I had applied through SBI net banking and my amount had lien

I sold all 50 shares of Bectors food at an average of 560 and bought 4 shares of Britannia. It may happen that this company will grow in future, but I am happy with Britannia Growth.



PS: I had bad experience with Pratap Snacks when I did not sell it on listing day and later I had to sell at an stop loss of 10%.

Hello , will my Applications gets rejected if i have applied application under my mothers name but using my bank account?

If you are using Mother PAN and Demat account and applying through SBI ASBS, then no chances of rejection.
And if it is through UPI, then it will be rejected.

@Bubbleboy .you seems correct that first time demat holder preferred for allotments as i only get allotment in a just opened newly demat of a relative while all old demats as always denied seems by linkintime
