Good morning. I have my broking account with Ventura Securities Ltd., Mumbai. I had sold certain shares on 9th March 2021 and as per T+2 pay out was due on 12.3.21. I requested on 12th March early in the morning itself to effect payment to my SB account. But he has credited the proceeds only today i.e. on 15.3.21 with a delay of 2 days. They are debiting interest to my account, if my pay in is delayed after T+2. Ventura of late effects pay out on T+3 (Instead of T+2). How about other brokerage houses ? Please guide.

I think this typically happens when "daylight saving" starts in USA (as I assume the servers are hosted there). Please note the daylight saving started from the mid night on 14th of March 2021.

From laxmi and nazara, which one to apply in retail and which one to apply in hni category if for one hni and on retail application, funds are available...as per listing gain and chances of allotment on hni and retail, which one to choose to apply as retail and which one to apply as hni

This ipo can give most listing gains approx. 100% compared to other 5 IPOs.
It''s clear apply, no brainer for me.

HELLO MY QUESTION REGARDING TO DIVIDEND

I HAVE INDIVIDUAL DEMATE ACCOUNT AND HUF DEMATE ACCOUNT

IN BOTH ACCOUNT THERE ARE SOME DIFFERENT IN GETTION DIVIDEND EVEN THE SHARE QUANTITY AND SAME COMPANY

EX. IRFC GIVEN DIVIDEND OF RS. 1.05 / SHARE , I GOT ALLOTEMENT IN INDIVIDUAL AND HUF BOTHE ACCOUNT WITH SHARES OF 575

BUT IN INDIVIDUAL I GOT , 575 X 1.05 = RS 603.75, HUF ACCOUNT I GOT RS. 558.75 EVEN THE SHARE QUANTUTY ARE SAME

IN OTHER COMPANY FSL GIVEN DIVIDEND OF RS. 3 / SHARE

I HAVE 500 SHARES IN INDIVIDUAL AND HUF ACCOUNT BOTH
BUT IN INDIVIDUAL I GOT, 500 X 3 = RS 1500, HUF ACCOUNT I GOT RS 1387 EVEN THE SHARE QUANTITY ARE SAME.

CAN ANYBODY SOLVE THIS DIVIDEND PROBLEM OR ANY DIFFERENT RULE FOR HUF ACCOUNT?

Since dividend attracts TDS @ 7.5% , the dividend credited to huf seems to have been net of tds. Whereas in case of individual person there is a slab, only above which TDS is deducted. hence the slab is not breached in the case of individual per se.

For Individuals, TDS is 7.5% for this financial year if the dividend amount is more than 5000.

For HUF, Firm, AOP, BOI and Company, TDS is 7.5% irrespective of the amount.

From next FY TDS will be 10%

If there is no PAN, irrespective of the type of investor, TDS will be 20%
