Mr. Udayan is right, when you compare try to compare the stocks with the EPS in the same league. That will give an idea about the stock is undervalued or overvalued. From my analysis what i see is that ICRA is still undervalued compared to the EPS of CRISIL which is at 30. ICRA has potential to go up to 1250 in short term. Will not be surprised if buyers queue up on Monday to buy ICRA even at current levels.

It looks like Mr. Sunil doesnt know the fundamentals of the company. And in which sector the company is ..otherwise he will not say...to compare it with crisil. Mr. sunil can you tell me...in what sense you are comparing it to nissan copper ???? if it is not to be compared with crisil ??

ICRA was expected to touch the at higher levels especially after it got listed at 550. The current closing price is 803 which is attractive. As a short term or long term investor i would be buying a huge lot to make a decent profit.

Summary: ICRA will surely touch 1000 levels next week to be in line with the competitor CRISIL which is at 2900.

Just got 20 allotted. and a profit of 10,000 plus on the listing day for me... Yaar aisa IPO mahinein main ek milega tho ho gaya kalyaan.

Buy ICRA @ Rs. 625=00 too, it is available very CHEAP, kyunki, just watch the price of CRISIL today, once it was available @ Rs. 1,050=00 only and see today its PRICE is about Rs 2,900=00 the HIGHEST of it was Rs.3400=00 in Jan, 2007.

In an interview with Moneycontrol.com, RS Iyer of KR Choksey said that ICRA is a good company. Capital market regulator Sebi has made grading mandatory for IPOs; so it is beneficial for rating agencies like ICRA (CRISIL, CARE and FITCH).

He said the stock is expected to list at Rs 450-480. He advises to book profits if the stock goes above Rs 500; he recomends buying it only if it comes to around the Rs 425 levels. Overall it is an excellent story.

Meanwhile, SP Tulsian, Investment Advisor says, "ICRA will list at around Rs 500-550. It is available at 20 times PE compared to Crisil, which is available at 30 times PE. It is a good company and the IPO grading has added advantage to this. Long term investors can stay invested and short term investors can book profits."

Crisil is trading at 30 p.e forward earnings to 2007-2008. With the same applies for ICRA then with EPS of 18.33, it should trade anywhere near 18.33 * 30 = 550 approximately. But one should give discount to ICRA when compared to CRISIL which is a bit more superior company. So even if ICRA trades at 25 p.e forward earnings of 2007-08, it should list at 18.33 * 25 = 450 approximately. These are reasonable valuations. But looking at the very small equity ( around 25 lakh shares ) and provided Infy gives good results tomorrow anything could happen. I believe it could even cross 600 tomorrow. This is how the picture looks. Taking all these parameters I feel it is going to list at around 500 and close around 575. Incase if it lists below 500, believe me great oppurtunity to buy. By the way I am alloted 20 shares of 300 applied.

ICRA is good script; right now market premium is around Rs. 215 to Rs. 225, its will list above 500. Might be same day it will touch 550 to 600 and after few days we can see 700. So don’t sell keep hold as per my opinion.

current premium of icra is above 250 rs that is listing at minimum 330+250=580. if u r lucky enough u can get at 580 rs or else buy it at 1200-1400 after 1 month.
