Sorry I cant really tell you what to do. It depends on your risk appetite.
I can tell you the process what happens if it goes bust. In general, NCDs are secured but not all of them. it means if company goes bust, NCD holders will have first right to the assets which were mentioned in NCD issue time. There is a trustee who is supposed to take care of NCD holders interests. This trustee will fight for NCD holders and get what ever the money from company and pay proportionately. But this recovery process usually takes years and finally you may get any where 0-100%, but surely huge loss.
Sir, I am indebted for your kind enlightenment. I have disposed 25%of NCDs at around 25% of loss. I am trying to dispose at least 25% more up to 30% of loss. Once again I thank you very much for your prompt response.
Can anyone please tell me the reason for sharp fall in NCD secondary market. Please respond at the earliest to take further course of action regarding disposal of the NCDs held in stock. Thank you.
Which company NCD you mentioned? yields actually went down (price went up). eg: earlier Shriram transport was selling for 14% now its only 9%. People may be selling little to put money back in equity..
Bad news. SREI company is in very bad shape with huge NPAs. I exited with loss 5 months back. RBI ordered a forensic audit last week. It may go bust OR if economy recovers it may recover over the years. But as of now, its highly risky and may default on payments. Based on your risk appetite take a call.
srinivas bhai aap ke total share 450 hai unko agar apne kal ke high 2183 per bhi sell kiya hoga tab bhi 307000 ka hi maximum profit hoga ..so again chek karo

Brother, don't worry, your funds are not deducted from your account, it is just in the locked state hence not visible to you. You can check your account passbook it is already there(unusable). Mandate end date is on the 29th of November. If by then your funds are not released you can approach your bank and request to release the funds and if that doesn't work you can raise a complaint with NCPI.

Gland Pharma crosses Rs 2000 mark. Now one wonders intentions of those trying to push down its price Question is very simple Did some people purposely tried to put down price of Gland. Were they working for someone?
