Valuation:
GBN intends to raise Rs.105 crore from the issue. It would issue 42 lakh - 45.65 lakh shares for the price band of Rs.230 to Rs.250.
The company has earned revenue of Rs.5.92 crore for 10 months ending March 2006 and Rs.24.24 crore for 6 months ending September 2006. Net loss has reduced from Rs.46.17 crore to Rs.25.46 crore for the same period respectively.
PE and EPS of the company cannot be calculated, as Profits are negative.
The company had a negative networth of Rs.5.65 crore in March 2006. However, for September 2006, networth of GBN is Rs.41.66 crore and book value of Rs.18.49 per share.

CNN IBN is a very well known News channel with a good brand Image.This IPO should definitely benefit us and give good Listing gains

Comparing other present ipo's this is good
for average appreciation

Viewership of CNN IBN is very less as compared to Sun TV. It can not create miracles of Sun TV. Average issue.
