The allotment basis in retail section is such that your odds of getting shares improves with the amount of shares you applied for.E.g. (figures are not true - they are used only to clarify the concept) For all those who applied for 100 shares - 3 out of 10 people will get an allotment of 25 shares each. Rest of them will have hard luck. For all those who applied for 250 shares - 6 out of 10 people will be lucky with 25 shares each. For all those who applied for 400 shares - 8 out of 10 people will be lucky. So it is a combination of the amount of money you have could put in and your luck.
The allotment is really weird. I had also applied for 200 shares, but still didnt get any. And someone down there says he applied for 100 shares and got 25. I mean whats the reasoning behind this? Its really weird.
Ya, there was no FIRM allocation done. For allotment basis, chk at this location http://www.intimespectrum.com/IPO/jsp/IPO_selectcompBasisAllotment.jsp
I also appllied for 175 but alloted NIL. Lets see the basis of allotment as even 1 lac appl also not got any shares...means no firm allotment in retail cat.
Hello Kishore, Registrar is same for both Akruthi and GBN. So u cant blame GBN alone. This Intimespectrum is real third class registrar, who always keeps Invester in the darkness, without proper updates.
Akruthi allotment out. 12 shrs alloted for 120 applied. I came to know that as money was deposited in my account for the same. GBN guys are worst - no allotment no refund still.
