Earlier retail applications were like bar bell. Lot of people at Rs 5000 end and many in-between upto Rs 2 lakh and with average applications of 1.07 lakh. After SEBI modified allotment basis average reduced to Rs 20000/
Now more people get allotment but dont make money. This may be the reason of applying by many without thinking

If you compare business segments of SIS and CMS you will agree that peer comparison is not right as SIS derives majority of its revenue from security service and handles ATM business to a very limited extent
