What if I get a technical error on the UPI App while accepting the IPO request?

Received the above message. Money is still blocked.

I received above message for two ipo's. (Devyani and Exarro Tiles). Any idea how this has to be resolved. Please share your experience on this issue.

Even i faced the same issue.i contacted the stock broker and got an advice that we need to send a mail to "ipo.upi@npci.org.in" with our query.

Dear Guys…
Whosever transcation get fail during UPI mandate( due to any reason) and amount get deducted from your bank account, please don’t get into panic.Your amount is totally safe in your bank account and it get into LIEN AMOUNT section in your particular bank account.Just do one thing, first wait for 24 hours till it get settled itself…if not then go to your bank after 24 hours and give them detail information application and request them to remove LIEN from your account.

I had applied for Rolex IPO. I got the shares allotted today, but the Autopay request on my UPI shows the Autopay payment has failed. Any idea what would happen now? Will I get the shares? Or will they cancel it?

IPO Request Failed in BHIMUPI for both Devyaani and Windlas applications with reason RESPMANDATE TIMEOUT AT REMITTER END having UMN Number and Transaction ID details, but the amount got blocked in my bank account for both applications. Again new IPO Collection request created in BHIM UPI for the both applications. About 60k blocked. What needs to be done? Ideally amount needs to be unblocked, so that I can again proceed for new ipo collection requests. Please suggest the process.

Same issue has arisen in my case also... I had recd first mandate towards krshna diagnostic which I accepted but it failed due to some technical error but amt got blocked and I even recd a msg that amt has been blocked.. But then again I got one more request for blocking of funds, but the previous fund blocked has not been released, and to accept the new mandate, I don't have sufficient balance

I had applied for krshna Diagnostic ltd in the morning and received upi mandate immediately but did not accept it at that time, rather accepted at around 7:30 pm in the evening but the block request failed due to some error. But the amount was blocked from the bank and one msg was recd confirming the amt has been blocked. And at around 10:10 pm, again I recd upi mandate for Rs. 14310, but the amt previously blocked has not been released. So should I accept the new mandate and will the amount blocked previously be released?

I applied Glenmark life science ipo on 27 july through Gpay.i got msg mandate failed. Mandate didn't completed. But still shows processing. Amount blocked. When fund will release??

Hi upi mandate successfully created for krsnaa but while enable autopay it got failed so i removed that autopay but amount has becen successfully block will i face any issue while allotment in getting amount deduction

5th Aug’21 I had authorised one mandate for an Exxaro Tiles IPO and soon I had cancelled it. As while authorising I had recieved a network error. Today the broker confirmed the cancellation but on the google pay to my surprise it was appearing in pending ( processing) and completed (authorization failed) tab. I have checked with the bank statement and the amount is still blocked. Also I recieved a sms stating, “ the UPI-Mandate of Rs.15000/- could not be cancelled due to VH.

First, delete/ withdraw/ cancel the IPO application in case if it is not canceled. Then contact your bank branch with a proper written application requesting them to release the lien amount or unblocking the funds. Specify the following details in your application,
1. Application No.
2. Unique Mandate No. (UMN) (if applied through UPI)
3. Customer / Transaction Reference No.
4. Bank Reference No. (if applied through ASBA Netbanking )
5. Attach the Self-attested photocopy of any Identity card (Aadhar or PAN, etc) with the application.
Many Bank Branches clerk don't know how to release the IPO lien so directly go to the Branch Manager with the application.
You can make the above application in the following cases:
1. IPO application was withdrawn within the closure of the IPO date but funds were still on lien / blocked.
2. IPO application was rejected on a technical basis and funds were still on lien / blocked.
3. IPO application had payment status like "Pending" or "Request accepted by Sponsor Bank" and not "Accepted by Investor". This status is shown even after successfully creating the UPI Mandate.

amount deducted from my account but ipo mandate shows that the authorisation is failed , I still haven't received my refund back . who should I concern this with my respective bank or the ipo provider .

Did you get your amount back today when Allotment was declared? I am facing a similar issue.

I also faced issues similar to what other people have mentioned.
1. Applied for Devyani IL & Windlas Biotech IPOs.
2. Authorized them on Google Pay, but the authorization fails for some reason.

I expected it to be some issue about me entering UPI PIN incorrectly, but that is not the case. Re-application also has failed. Although, thankfully none of my funds have been blocked.

I applied for Rolex ring ipo today.i got google pay upi mandate request,but when I authorized it,my request failed.But i got a message from my bank confirming mandate is successful and money got blocked.can anyone tell me could I get the ipo allotment or not and my money will be refunded or not if my ipo is not allowed?

Same here . I got alloted for GR Infra IPO. Recieved email from my broker and CDSL regarding the IPO. But the amount which I made an UPI mandate through Phone pe was failed. When I contacted Phone pe they said it was a problem from my Bank's end. Yesterday I contacted the bank and they said if there is any problem with the bank it will take 3-5 days. The amount is still in hold with the bank. And there is no way to revise the payment. Is there any hope for me to get the alloted IPO.
