How do I sell shares received in IPO allotment in minor demat account?

Zerodha (Flat Rs 20 Per Trade)

Invest brokerage-free Equity Delivery and Direct Mutual Funds (truly no brokerage). Pay flat Rs 20 per trade for Intra-day and F&O. Open Instant Account and start trading today.

There are two ways:

  1. Sell them directly through the minor trading account linked to the minor demat account in which you received the allotment. The process is same as any other trading account.
  2. Transfer the shares to the Guardian's trading account and sell them.

Note that as tax liability lies with the account Guardian, it actually doesn't matter where you sell it from.

If minor applied for IPO and get allotment shares then on listing day can transfer to guardian account or when credit shares in demat account. Which credit before 2 days of listing day ?
