Is Kotak Securities NSDL or CDSL?

Kotak Securities is a Depository Participants with both CDSL and NSDL. You can choose any of the DP while trading with Kotak Securities.

NSDL and CDSL are the two depositories of India that hold shares, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities of investors in the electronic form in the Demat accounts.

If you have an account with CDSL, your Demat account number will have 16 digits numeric code, and if your account is with NSDL, it will have 14 digits numeric code starting with the alphabets IN.
