How to open a new account in Espresso?

You can open an account by using the Espresso application or website. Espresso allows you to open Trading and Demat accounts together. Demat account charges are Zero and Trading account charges are Rs 345 (currently waived off) with zero maintenance charges for the first year.

Following are the steps for opening an account with Espresso:

1. Download the Espresso app or open the Espresso website.
2. Click on open an account.
3. Verify mobile number.
4. Fill out Bank and PAN card details.
5. Enter details on Upload Page like Adhar Card, Pan Card, Signature, Picture, etc. and save it,
6. Add details on the Other Information page like personal information, experience, occupation, etc.
7. Do Email Verification.
8. Check the Client Information Details and proceed with E-Sign.
9. Enter the Aadhar number on the NSDL E-sign service portal and click on Send OTP.
10. Enter the OTP to complete the account opening process.
11. The account gets activated in a few hours once the document verification gets completed at the broker end.
