Does GCL Securities allow short selling?

GCL Securities allows Intraday short selling and short selling in F&O.

Intraday short selling help investors book profits in case of adverse market situations wherein an investor can sell stocks at a higher price and then square off the position by buying at a lower price. However, if the open position does not get squared off within the stipulated deadline by 3.10 PM, GCL securities initiate an auto square off process.

GCL Securities does not allow STBT (Sell Today Buy Tomorrow) orders in Equity Delivery trades. You need to ensure to have sufficient stock in your account before placing a sell order.
