RKSV Demat Account Charges Explained

RKSV, the India based discount broker offers share, commodity and currency derivatives trading services at BSE, NSE and MCX.

Unlike most discount brokers in India, RKSV also offers 'Demat Account' to its customers. In other words, RKSV have in-house DP which offers services to electronically store the shares and securities owned by the investors.

Adhoc / Non periodic statement requestsAdhoc statement requests - Rs 25 (Rs 500 for foreign address) per request up-to 10 pages. Every additional 5 pages or a portion thereof will be charged at Rs 10 + courier / postage charges.
eMail StatementFree periodic bills, transaction statement and other communication through email.
Cheque Bounce chargesCharges applied based on charges as determined by our bankers


  • Interest @ 18% p.a is charged on the outstanding bill amount if not paid within the due date.
  • Company prefers customers to have RKSV DP as primary Demat account with power of attorney (POA) to RKSV which make the transactions between broker and DP seamless. But customers are free to use other DP's (non-RKSV Demat Account) with the RKSV trading account.

Explanation of Demat Charges with RKSV

The fee structures for different Demat scenarios:

Case 1: If customer have an RKSV Demat account (with POA)

  • On buy, there are no Demat charges and the shares goes to Client DP account
  • On sell, Rs 8 + 5.5 + service tax = Rs. 15.45

Case 2: If customer have beneficiary activated for a non-RKSV Demat Account

As of Dec 2015, RKSV no more offer this facility.

Case 3: If customer don't have beneficiary activated and he has a non-RKSV Demat a/c

  • On buy, there are no Demat charges and the shares go straight to customers DP account.
  • On sell, No charges from RKSV side since RKSV do not allow to sell shares of third party demat.
