after reading all the comments i am bit scared of HDFC and reliance money now.. Please let me how should i proceed with HDFC or relianc money .which 1 you suggest is beeter It is very confusing. Some suggestion is highly appreciated.

I have demat and Trading account with HDFC. I am not satisfied with the sevices because of following: 1. To do trading I have to call Mumabai on STD and the network remains most of the time busy (may be telephone lines are not in commonsurate with nos. of customers). It would be better if some nos. are also available at Delhi also. 2. I tried to purchase shares of Satyam when it was falling around Rs 10 but could not get the line even after trying for3 hours continuously without break and I missed the golden opportunity. Today it has crossed Rs 85. 3. Inspite of such poor services the brokerage being charged as high as 0.5 % but others like infoline and many more charges just 0.2% and you also will get them on single dial. Infact they also provide Personal mobile nos. also to facilitate customers.
Could any one of HDFC resposible officer (which I believe there is none)address my grieviences so that I donot shift to other brokerrs.
Today i have submitted the application form for opening a demat account with HDFC, i have not yet got the user id and password after reading all the comments i am bit scared of HDFC now. Please let me how should i proceed with HDFC or create in another. It is very confusing. Some suggestion is highly appreciated.

I have a saving account in hdfc bank & I opened a Demat account in another branch.I received my demat account kit.But I still did not get my online id & passward.pl. I called to customer care, they said that you have to open the trading account. I am trying to reach them through phone but the phone numbers will never be working properly or you will never be connected to a representative. Always they are either busy or no response. suggest me what i have to do?
HDFC servicing is pathetic. I have been struggling for password for the last six months (i know none can believe this) and till now the issue has not been resolved. The phone numbers will never be working properly or you will never be connected to a representative. Always they are either busy or no response. God knows how to talk to them. And if you send mails, only system generated response will be there. No one will turn up to you. So pathetic, useless servicing. Is there any regulatory authority who is responsible and responsive, to look into servicing aspects for demat account holders where we can complain in case of poor and improper responses?
I have a demat account with hdfc. The session expires very quickly. This is a big headache with hdfc bank. The bank should lenthen the session expiry time to at least 10 minutes or should take it off. HDFC does not provide Trader's Terminal facility to account holders both software and browser. It should have online executives to troubleshoot clients problems regarding dmat accounts

My DP ID IN301151. Yesterday I tried there customer care number for 4 hours but now response. I have dmat as well as trading a/c in hdfc sec.Recently the customer services has gone down. Most of the time the ph srvcs are disconected or engaged.I REQ AUTHORITY TO LOOK into the matter seriously other wise some of the customer may shift to other broker.
Thanks all for the feedback on HDFC bank securities.So i decided to open the demat and trading account with another broker like indiabulls or sharekhan.

HDFC portfolio is undoubtably the WORST. You have to add every transaction manually by clicking the "Add to portfolio" button. There is not even something called "Select All" and add to portfolio. To add to their stupidity the only way to know whether some transaction is added to the portfolio or not, you have to really click the "Add to portfolio" button to get the message "It is already added." Any novice can tell that this is a one day job to add this select all button or some tick sign to say it is added already. You have to be dumb enough like this 'one of the highest brokerage chargers' to NOT understand this.
i am send a mail to hdfc sec customer care,already 10 days over, there was no response, ? i told to the customer care that if y people dont have any response send me the attachement of closing forms,that work also they doesn't done.. better to forword the mail to SEBI

Worst customer service among all trading sites. Call center phone numbers continously busy or not working at all. No reply or update from email also. I am planning to close this account and open with icicidirect. Can somebody guide how can everything be transferred in one go?
HDFC Securities has the worst Phone trading service, The telephone numbers provided NEVER work. by time you get through, you have a earache and the trading session is over.
They also have a very bad process to reset forgottten passwords, You have to send an email which they take 3 days to process after which they claim to despatch the password in another 3 working days...
But the password never reaches before at least 30 working days have passed and you have lost lakhs of Rupees on the Stock Exchange
They have no clu about how to provide Security service, They should stop scamming people and shut shop.
