IT SHOWS COMPETITIVE BROKERAGE RATES.BUT I SEE THAT MY OTHER BROKERS ARE CHARGING HALF OF WHAT KOTAK SECURITIES ARE CHARGING. MY WHOLE PROFIT RUNS IN THE BROKERAGE. NEED TO SHIFT.
I have a demat account with kotak securities. while opening the account in march month, i was promised waiver of all charges for one year. but now in april and may, KS has debited my account with rs. 400 and 180 respectively. when i called the concerned person, he said as i have opened account in march month and as new financial year begins in april, charges will be levied on my account from april onwards. if this is gonna happen, i am gonna close my demat account. kindly go through this matter quickly.

cheaters one sales person in kolkata told me to open my online trading account free now after one month they have debited rs 750 as account opening charges, also they hiked the charges of demat account without any prior information

Customer service is pathetic, most of the time they don't know the solution and don't have answer to specific query. Online portal, trading exp etc are good.
Those who are good in trading can go for it subject to get the deal at negotiated price

The acct maintenance fees is only one time but Rs.750/- is some what heavy. Brokerage is negotiable accoriding to the turnover. It offers online trading software Keatpro which is excellent. The overall experience is above average.

Ihave opened account no OAOS5(Jayanagar branch B"lore) in my wife name Jyothi s.m. rep of kotak open the account and trade for the same and he left the kotak(came to know only when wi visit branch). Now my fund become 50% because negligency of trade and communication. Branch manager is expressing he does not know the account and handing over is not done by ex repre. this answer is acceotable from ur securities. I visited on 3/9/11. branch manager himself is not knowing the account in his branch. and told me iwill come back on this issue by 5/9/11. Till date he not bother to call and give the ststus. He expressed in the office as not resposible . He telling it will happen like this . Now for my basic money what i have to do . TOTALLY I THINK BELIVING AND PUTTING OUR HARD MONY IN YOUR SECURIY IS IT WORTH?

I have an offline trading account with kotak securities. I am comfortable with online trading, as I use religare odin extensively. To make a call and place an order, everytime is very difficult. How do I switch from offline to online? pl mail me procedure.

I don't know how they get AWARDS each year, I feel something fishy in giving awards to KOTAK as I found their client service so low that I don't want to even talk about that. I sent them emails( multiple times), I contact with there Janak Puri, New Delhi branch many time, after failing to get required response, I contact their Cannaught Place, New Delhi branch but i still suffered from their services. Only I want to convert my OFFLINE Trading A/c to ONLINE Trading A/c, but now I decide to close my A/c with Kotak forever.

I hundred percent agree with Neelam ji. Staff here in Dubai is totally non-cooprative and authorotative. i am trying to open account from last three months, Every time they come out with one oe other reasons this signature is not there, that signature is not there / your email has been sent wrongly etc. etc. Kindly guide me how can I get my job done or can change broker as I am not at all happy with dubai office.
