Re: How we can make Chittorgarh a better place to live Hi Deepak, I visited Chittorgarh last month after two years. I found two revolutionary changes:
1. Express Ways: I just can’t explain how I was amazed when I was landed in Udaipur and came to Chittorgarh by Express way. In this one and half hours journey I realized that this is what we need, world class infrastructure. It’s a beginning towards becoming a developed country.
2. Mobile Phones: That’s another revolution I saw in this visit. When I reached home, I saw a person doing some repair work at our home (Karigar) was talking on mobile phone. I asked my dad how much he makes per day and I was surprised to see that a person earning 150 Rs a day can afford mobile phones. Went I went to market and met more people I found that so many people started carrying mobile phone, from drivers to school boys every body has a number to reach.
This mobile resolution helped a lot to me as I went for my brother’s marriage and has to manage so many things. Half of the marriage was planed and managed on mobile phones, from halwai to labors, from catering guys to almost every body was contacted and followed up on mobile phone.
Few things which haven’t change are: 1. Electricity supply: Still having scheduled power cut, which is really bad. Most of the people have found work around to this problem by installing battery operated inverters. Still inverter has its own limitations and you can’t run cooler and other things on them.
2. Water Supply: People still relies on water tankers to fulfill there every day water supply. Almost 9-10 months in an year water supply remains ok but remaining 2-3 months its remain painful for the people live in Chittorgarh.
3. Sawariya Ji Hospital has not yet started. I do not understand why such a nice project got stuck in between.
Hey Deepak…I personally didn’t find any problem in Chittor traffic other then the problem I discussed in my last post. Traffic situation in Chittor is far better then cities like Bhilwara or Udaipur. Roads are in good shape and you could see traffic police on the roads. In first few days I realize that people use horn so frequently but later I realize the importance of horn and started using it :)
Guys…I also appreciate Inani Marble's great effort to put ‘Drinking Water Coolers’ all over Chittorgarh. Only this kind of efforts could make our city a beautiful place to live.
Finally I would say Chittor is much like it was few years back…beautiful, peaceful, social and great place to live.

Re: How we can make Chittorgarh a better place to live 1. Those all traffic cops (Thulla's) who stands in the shed infront of collectrate should be on the roads to monitor and vigil the traffic.
2. Chittorgargh Bus stand is nothing better than to be in a pathetic situation. The entire bus stand is almost like a "Shulabh Shochalaya" which stinks !
3. Lets talk about the Railway Reservation counter. There are 3 windows. Out of which only 1 use to work and that too 10 % of the times. Most of the times there are link failures.
4. What PWD has done to decraese the accidents in the accident prone zone (location - sainik School Padmini hotel turn)
5. Nehru garden use to be a great place some 15 years ago but now that stinks with the smell of Desi Tharra/Daaru... .
6. We need to a have a Gau-shala at grand level.
7. Most of the bugger banks (better not to name but as you know the one opp.. the collectrate) do not provide the Internet banking... OK... There might be a fear that if the customers are use to the net banking then they will be fired.

Irregularities is being done by Nagar Palika & spoiling residential colonies. NAGAR PALIKA CHITTORGARH WAS INDULGED IN SOME OF THE IRREGULARITIES IN CONVERTING RESIDENTIAL COLONIES TO GET BENIFITED TO PRIVATE COLONIZER AND HENCE ALL LEADING RESIDITIAL COLONIES SUCH AS MADHUVAN, KAILASH NAGAR, FRIENDS COLONY, RA COLONY ARE HAVING IRREGULARITES OF ROADS & DRAIN. |

WE SHOULD THANK OUR PRESENT DISTRICT COLLECTOR SHRI SAMIT SHARMA. DEAR ALL,
FIIRST OF ALL I THANK A LOT TO OUR DM, SHRI SAMIT SHARMA WHO IS TRYING TO CHANGE THIS CHITTORGARH CITY INTO HERITAGE CITY AND ALREADY DONE A LOT OF GOOD JOB TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS INFRASTRUCTURE. PRESENT MUNICIPAL COMMITTEE HAS ALSO DONE GOOD WORK WITH FULL DEDICATION UNDER GUIDANCE OF OUR COLLECTOR SAHIB. ONE MORE RECENT SIGNIFICANT MARK IS ADDED TO THIS CITY i.e. ITS COLLECTORATE WITH ISO MARKING.
BESIDES ABOVE, I SUGGEST FOLLOWING TO BE BETTER FOR THIS CITY:-
1. DEVELOPMENT OF ROAD, DRAINS & PARKS IN NEWLY BUILT COLONIES. 2. PROVIDING RUBBISH BIN IN EACH STREET. 3. ENSURE PROPER HOUSE KEEPING ON MAIN ROADS & STREET ON DAILY BASIS. 4. ENSURE CONSTRUCTIOIN OF HOUSE BUILDINGS AS PER NORMS DECIDED BY NAGAR PALIKA. 5. DISMANTLING OF CONSTRUCTION OF SUCH HOUSES WHICH ARE CONSTRUCTED OUT OF NORMS. 6. TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST SUCH PRIVATE COLONIZERS WHO DID NOT PROVIDE INSTRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES IN COLONIES DEVELOPED & SOLD BY THEM AND RECOVER AMOUNT FOR PROVIDING SUCH FACILITIES. 7. FORMATION OF COMMITTEES IN EACH & EVERY COLONY COMPRISING OF RESIDING CITIZENS TO GIVE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HOUSE KEEPIING & SUPERVISION OF MAINTENANCE OF INFRACTURAL FACILITIES UNDER CONTROL OF ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITIES. 8. REVIEW OF WORK DONE BY SUCH COMMITTEES QUARTERLY BY ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITIES. 9. SPREADING MESSAGE TO CITIZEN.
"KEEP YOUR CITY / STREET CLEAN" "USE RUBBISH BIN" "DO NOT THROW RUBBISH ON ROAD" PROVISION OF PENALTY / FINE IN CASE OF INDULGING IN ABOVE ACT.
HOPE, ABOVE ARE SUFFICIENT FOR FIRST PHASE............. IF ANY, YOU MAY ADD & COMMUNICATE TO OUR DISTRICT MAGISTRATE, LEADERS, NAGAR PALIKA CHAIRMAN .........ETC ....... ETC.........
I HOPE CHITTORGARH WOULD BE VERY BEAUTIFUL. |

hoe to develop our well known city , chittorgarh first of all i wud like to thank our DM who is making such great efforts to turn the city into a dream city . i think the first and formost thing which gives any place exposure is its infrastructure like the roads n the market place. roads attracts investors, and if investors are attracted then its obvious that the city will head towards development. keeping the roads apart our society plays a big role in keeping the city attractive thank divyarajsinghochri |
