places connected with Meera Bai around Jaipur
I live in Greece and have no connection what-so-ever with India, except the fact that for some reason a one mukhi rudraksha came to me and that I have a urge to go to a place connected with the life of Meera Bai. I shall be in India (at Amanbagh, close to Jaipur) for only three days and I would appreciate any information ! |

Hi, upto my knowledge there is no place nearby jaipur,related with Meera Bai but U can have a trip to chittorgarh for a day which is the place of MeeraBai.
To Chittorgarh,it is a night (7 hour) journey from jaipur by buses or train.
#Train to chittorgarh->chetak exp. from jaipur, lakecity exp. from jaipur.
buses are readily available.
In chittorgarh places to visit-chittorgarh fort having meera temple,victory tower,palaces,historical monuments.(only in one day visit)in the night u can again leave to jaipur.
Other than chittorgarh->places connected with MeeraBai are Nagaur ( Medata city) city.

I read your message.Thanks for showing your interest about the great indian devotee Saint Meerabai.I am a teacher by profession and living in Maharashtar state.My forefathers belong to Rajasthan.I have studied about Meerabai.If you want to know about Meerabai, you may contact via e-mail. |

Hi Iuliana,
I agree with Deepak that Chittorgarh is the places where you could find many places which are devoted to Meera.
‘Meera Memorial Trust’ is an organization based in Chittorgarh who has lots of information about Meera Bai. They could arrange a very nice one day trip for you to the places near Chittorgarh.
