Incorporated in 2001, Fortis Healthcare Limited (FHL) is one of the largest and prestigious private healthcare companies in India, based on the number of hospital beds. Fortis currently have a network of 12 hospitals primarily in north India, 15 satellite and heart command centers in hospitals across the country and one heart command center in Afghanistan.
Fortis Healthcare Limited (FHL) is entering the capital markets with an initial public offering, IPO of 56,666,633 Equity Shares, for cash, at a premium to be decided through a 100% Book Built Issue.
The price band for the issue has been fixed at Rs 92 per at lower level and Rs 110/- at upper level for equity share of Rs 10. The issue opens on April 16, 2007, and closes for subscription on April 20, 2007. The equity shares of the company are proposed to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
