Many companies like BGR, Tech M, Welspun Corp, HPCL, Muthoot Finance, Tata Motors etc. today have declared results after market hours. Even yesterday also tata steel results are declared after market hours.

BGR,Muthoot Finance,Tata Motors have posted good results but Welspun,Tech M are not good.

In case of tatamotors, apart from good results, they also pay dividend of 20Rs/ and stock split of 1 to 5 (Fv 10 to Fv 2).

I think this will rock tomorrow and touch 1200 atleast. Lets see and fingers crossed.

I am little bit confused on seeing the PAT which got decreased based on yoy due to some discounts given by the company to their customers(?). Guys, please help me in understanding this. Is this good numbers or something fishy?

Overall the numbers are good except the above mentioend point.

The additional fuel is their dividend and stock split.

It was my misunderstanding on seeing the financial statement. forget my previous message.

Indeed tatamotors posted very good numbers. so 1200 in card tomorrow and may be 1230 on Monday if the overall sentiment in Market supports.

Diesel price hike has been deferred until 9th of June, I don't see any problem as of now. Fingers crossed.

Dear friends,
Yesterday I had bought five companies shares:Tatamotors both future & few shares,BGR,Muthoot (after IPO selling at 193 entered first time yesterday at 155),Videocon Industries(results yet to be declared) & Shree Ganesh(My favorite company-KK will not agree with this :) .SGJHL sold intraday after it increased 5 percent & covered at the end.
I also bought PVR yesterday in addition to Gitanjali & NMDC future at today's close for tomorrow.I have rolled over PFC future to tommorow.

Very Happy with BGR results,did not study Tata motors

Dear Sreedhar,
I was watching when the results of Shree Ganesh were posted. They showed the chart from which it was clear that it had gone up very much in the past month or so. Then I thought of shorting in spite of good numbers as it has gone up today also. But somehow or other the thought of Shree Ganesh (and Ramky) make me feel like a cat on a hot tin roof. So I thought to myself that Shree Ganesh grapes were sour and left it. Had I shorted my loss in this could have gone down by some 500 o 100 Rs!

Is it allowed to rollover future when security is in ban period ? I wanted to buy june futures of PFC but I have not initiated any position as PFC was in ban period.
