OFS Highlights

The Government is raising Rs 12,406 Cr (at a floor price of Rs 290) by selling its 5% holding in the company through the auction process.

Allocation will be on a price priority method at multiple clearing prices which will be displayed after the allocation of shares.

Indicative Price will be displayed in the last half hour (15:00-15:30) of the bidding period. Indicative Price is the VWAP of all the bids that have exhausted the quantity offered.

No single buyer other than mutual funds and insurance companies shall be allocated more than 25% of the size of the sale.

Modifications/Cancellation of the orders will be allowed, except during the last 30 minutes of the bidding period (15:00-15:30).

100% cash margin at the order level for every buy order/bid. In case of modification/cancellation, the funds will be released/collected on a real time basis.

Settlement will be completed in T+2 days.

It is not possible to leak FPO price, as FPO price band is purely market linked price.

ONGC is down because of this

1. Currently trend is up. My opinion is better to wait for any rise to 300 to construct F&O stretegy.

2. I don't have any opinion (look at debt portion & take decision). But, I prefer Renuka Sugars in Sugar sector.

Few months before i was a follower of Split/ bonus shares nanba, but The case(Price raise) had not happened in all the cases, mostly ends flat, because split/bonus shares will take some time to get credited in our accounts everyone will try to Square off the position by end..
But on the date of split it will rock, because after split, the flotation in the stocks will be less, as the split shares will take time to get into the market so upto my knowledge & experiance, it is better to buy on the first day, after split....
