One thing that may effect the volumes is CTT(commodity transaction tax) which is expected to impose by GOVT. ALL THE BEST.

Applying the same logic.... Mcx should not trade above 600...even if u give it a premium for mkt leadership it cant be said to have any value in the price band declared
