Very true. Govt is presently looking at every avenue to garner money to prove itself as pro-poor, though for the sake of vote bank politics only. And share market investors are on their target having given them good market conditions for four years. They feel they have right to get something out of share market in return. So please don't expect too much with regard to IPO pricing at reasonable level. Whatever pricing they keep, market condition do not augur well for PSU listing.

Government is liberal in doling out subsidies or freebies to garner votes . this time will the Government be liberal in issue price ? pricing it reasonably leaving something on the table for retail investors

Govt is liberal only to their target Voters and we the gullible investors are the lot whose pockets will be robbed to dole out freebies.

Price band might be around 150 and retailer get 5% discount.. good IPO after many days.

Cant't say till price band is announced.

ITS ALL DEPEND ON PRICING AND SIZE OF OFFER AND PREVALENT MARKET CONDITIONS.LEAD MANAGERS ARE NOT SO INVESTORS FRIENDLY.

If Retail investors get discount, then must apply to the issue....good opportunity.
