It is a fact known to all that Companies like Ujjivan depend on borrowed funds to on- lend as current RBI license does not permit deposit taking. They mostly depend on term loans at high interest rates, may be from commercial Banks. Once they convert to small banks they will be able to access public deposits as well as interbank short term borrowings and reduce their funding cost. But on the flip side they will have statutory obligations as a Bank such as CRR/SLR and these will impact profitability. The ROE will come down in the short term till they expand their asset portfolio sufficiently for increased net earnings. However risk management will limit expansion of credit and CDR will have to be kept at a reasonable level. They will also have to take care of ALM as applicable to a Bank and keep liquid assets to meet depositors withdrawals including embedded option. However Ujjivan has a good management team and should be able to tide over short term hiccups.

just select HNI section and apply as the same u do for RII
I think QIBs and HNIs remain locked in especially for such listings. Seems only retail part is trading. But I''m surprised that Nomura sold some part. May be merchant bankers allowed some exceptions when brokering the deal pre-issue.

VC firms have invested Rs 150 for long term in Infibeam. I know of other international ecommerce companies that were talking to infibeam, but not sure of the exact dealings.
If this IPO is not falling giving indication of this will go up in some time. Risk taking investor / trader can accumulate as operaror driven game can give you profit.
This is purely trading call with your specified stop loss. No advise on valuation front.
Septa ji Thanks 4 reply. Two more questions- 1-Shree Puskar as you recommend as now almost doubled in Past 6 months.is it still cheap and further scope for investing.? 2-in ur reply u mentioned dr lal.I was not alloted but post ipo I bought at 675 range and sold at 936.today inspite of weak market it soars and cross 1000 mark..can I invest in dr lab at these levels?
any good stock will reward better in in the market ....first with SP i had mention in forum i have start selling bcoz i have met more then my target price so selling half my stock i can hold the rest for free however i am sure some more upside is left on this stock
With Dr Lal it had a very good quarter if this continues we will see more re rating at higher price so entry on dips is advisable
to get a real picture of the IPO we need to wait few quarters. In case of Infibeam IMO it is operator driven.... take the case of teamlease IPO was highly priced still the price went up by 20% plus today it below 4% positive if quarter result is not encouraging it will go further down....
For me biggest surprise was DR LAL i was completely wrong in my fundamental analysis this stock is now being accumulated by DIIs and FIIs as hedge of pharma sector many funds have jumped this band wagon.... So next diagnostic sector IPO will have lot of interest......
Also it will not fair on me if i do not speak abt PCL.... i was 50% to 50% of it listing however i am very much surprised 20% plus drop... what has happened in this auto sector is same as pharma re rating happen in AUTO too where 30 PE was norm now market is not giving 15 PE on forward earning...
All this come and go i remember 2 years chemical and sugar sector did not get any interest even when the whole sector PE was in range 3 to 8.....
Today metal sector is same debt burden who knows two years the cycle will change
atul even though some boarders r saying I was wrong but the fact remains that this IPO was much much overvalued. The financials n track record of the company does not imbibe confidence. This stock is 100% operator driven. I m sure. Chalo I was wrong but what about other boarders as well as recommendations of brokerage houses which advised the same. The real strength of the stock would be clear once its results start coming in. Let''s wait for that. I m sure the truth would be out. Operators can influence it as much as they want now but any stock would be subjected yo market forces in the long term.
