Dear All,

This is the first time so far that I have not received refund from IPO. Can anybody guide if this is something to bother or the refund will come itself in a couple of weeks?

I got 168 shares. Yesterday i did not sell at 137. I am holding for target of 150. It will reach there for sure, but will take time. Before FPO it was trading at 162 Rs. It has book value of 146 Rs.

I received refund yesterday - directly credited to my AXIS bank account.

Pl reply anyone receive credit of shhiping corp refund till date in bank. Plllllllllllllll

My long message to you in the morning was somehow not posted, but the one given after that has come.

The gist of what I have said is this.

1. I am not expert enough to suggest ways to come out of the tangle.

2. You should not have applied SCI. Having done that, you should have sold first thing in the morning.

3. If you are for MOIL you should have applied and tried your luck. It was not wise to buy for that price after seeing the downtrend from 590, that too such a big quantity, without any stop loss.

4. It may not go up more than 20 or 30 rupees today and there will be resistances all along the up move as many would have bought and caught.

5. As Sreedhar points out 500-505 zone will have strong resistance.

6. At the most you can do intra day trades using part of your holding in a calculated way without sitting tight on your holdings.

Earning the hard way in the Middle East and losing like this, you are not doing anything good to Nanda. Please think many a times hereafter before doing such trades.

People who sold SCI in futures sometimes back made a cool profit. Those who sold on Tuesday at about 141 expecting the allotment on Wednesday or Thursday also got around 1900Rs. Those who sold on the opening bell yesterday morning at 137 - 138 got away with small profit. For those who waited thinking that this is a good investment opportunity the result is there for everyone to see. Should this be the fate of the primary market?
Some people argue that we should not look for gains on the listing day in good scripts. Are they then ready for seeing loss on the opening day? If that is so, is it really a good script?

As you said those who bought through Shipping Corporation IPO are incurring losses. I did also mistake by applying for the same, eventhough the qty received was only 96. However, hope this could give some appreciation in coming week.
Another mistake, I purchased MOIL today from open market at 540, 225 qty, it came to 460 level.
Can you please guide me what should I do. Is it a hold both of these shares.

On an average i sold my 224 * 2 shares at 142/- share.( by daily sell and buy)

It was already expected that the price of SCI will fall below 135 on listing day. The gov has given very less margin while issuing this FPO.
I agree that this is a very good share for long term holding, but why block your money for these many days when it was sure that it can be purchased frm secondary market at same price.
Definitely a loss for QIB and HNI.

This is called madness.
SCI is good company and price will sure go up, within a week. I will not sell my shares below 150. Will buy if it goes below 130.

Those who had applied through broker house they will get refund order by post.It may take some time.Ihad a bitter experience in NHPC public issue for which I had applied through SHAREKHAN since I have trading account with them.It is better to apply through ASBA route(preferably AXIS BANK)

I have reversed my option short today and got Rs 3200 profit. I had not applied in FPO. I hope SCI to come out of MWPL ban period today itself so i can enter again tomorrow.
