i had applied to this ipo and allotted shares.I could not sell them.I had purchased shares from the market as well. Now I have 1100 shares at average cost of Rs. 65.
What can I do now?Please advice me.I cant hold the shares for more than 2 months.

In Cash segment (not F&O) you can short-sell any script on any day. But you should cover on same day itself. However, you cannot short-sell T2T segment scripts (Trade-to-Trade segment).

In F&O you can carry-over any position (short or long). If contract expires, you can roll-over to next contract.

Before short-selling, enquire with your broker whether you can short-sell that particulars script or not.

If you short-sell at 11:28:18, then post message at 11:30 & then if you cover at 2:22:19 then post another message at 2:25. Total two posts (one selling & another covering) separaely. Then, not only Board Members believe you, but also make profit with your help.

No use of posting your trade details after trading hours. After 3:30, anybody can boast anything.

I am very happy , I am very Lucky !! I sold 5000 shares of Euro at 52.9 at 11:28:18 and covered entire position at 42.9 at 2:22:19 , hence a cool gain of 50,000/-
