    If I made application through 'Self Certified Syndicate Bank', then my money will be blocked but it is in my saving account, will I get interest for that period?

    yes definitly you will get saving bank intrest on the blocked amoun.

    in case, your application is rejected or you have not been alloted the shares...then ur blocked amount wil be unblocked and you will earn the interest for that time period...but if u have been alloted shares and the money will now be transferred to the company from your account...then u will not be getting any interst on that amount...

    yes, offcourse you will get the interest on it as well as if you have in savings a/c in a bank where avg. balance is reqd. to be maintained then you can also enjoy that balance maintainance, in ASBA considering these benefits it has been introduced

    Yes, as per RBI guidelines, the interest will be paid by the banks on the amount blocked in Savings a/c for IPO/Rights issue.

    investors normally do not get interest on the ipo refund. why should a bank give interest

    banks will be interested in this system only if they have to gain i.e their free float increases
