Rajasthan state has extensive reserves (about 2500 MT) of cement grade limestone and with the present production capacity of nearly 13 million tonnes per annum of cement.

With a total grey cement capacity of 13.12 million tonnes per annum (TPA), Grasim is among the largest producers of
grey cement in India. Grasim is the 9th largest cement producer in the world.
Aditya Cement Works is one of the cement plant of Grasim Industries. It was build in 1995 in Shambupura,
Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The plant capacity is about 1.50 million TPA. The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art
equipment and are certified with ISO 9001 for quality systems, and ISO 14001 for environment management systems.
