  1. 1. How to close Religare account?

    Religare Trading and Demat accounts can be closed by submitting a hard copy of the filled account closure form to the nearest branch. Religare does not offer online account closure.

    Steps to close Religare account:

    1. Download the Religare account closure form
    2. Fill the form with the below details:
      1. Tick on Trading + Depository account.
      2. Names of the account holder.
      3. Reason for account closure.
      4. Client ID and Trading ID.
      5. Target Demat account details in case of closure cum transfer.
    3. Sign the form.
    4. Submit the form to the nearest branch.

    Before initiating the account closure request, ensure to pay any outstanding dues on your account.

    Yes, Religare offer Equity, Commodities, IPO, NCD and Mutual Funding investment and trading under the same trading platform. This is very convenient for most customers.

  5. 5. What are the different validities available when trading with Religare?

    1. Day - The order is valid for one day. This is the default value.
    2. IOC - The order is valid for immediate execution, else it is canceled.
    3. GTD - The order is valid as per the limit set for no. of days. This is valid only for commodities.
    4. GTC - The order remains valid till the time it is canceled. This is valid only for commodities.
    5. EOSSES - End of session.
    6. EOTDY - End of today.

     

  6. 6. Does Religare offers 'disclosed quantity' orders?

    Yes, you can mention the disclosed quantity for the Order.

    Disclosed quantity is used by the customer if he/she doesn't want to show his full order quantity to exchange.

    Please Note that order will be placed for the whole order quantity and only on the market screen, the display will be as per the disclosed quantity. The disclosed quantity can't be less than the 10% of order quantity.

     

  7. 7. Other than online fund transfer, what other facilities are available to fund my trading account with Religare?

    Other than online fund transfer, Religare offers the facility to fund your trading account by providing cheque at the Branch for the amount to be transferred.

  1. What is AMC for Religare?

    Religare charges Nil Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC) for a trading account and Rs 400 from second year onward for a Demat account. AMC is charged to maintain the accounts.

  2. How much Religare charge for delivery?

    Religare charge 0.50% to 0.10% for equity delivery trade. These trades are also known as cash & carry trades or CNC.

    Espresso customer also has to pay taxes, demat debit transaction fee (Rs 13.5 per trade) and exchange transaction charges.

  3. How much Religare charge for intraday?

    Religare charge 0.050% to 0.010% for intra-day trades. These orders are also known as Margin Intraday Square-up or MIS orders. All open intraday orders are auto squared-off at the end of the day. Extra leverage is offered for these trades.

    In addition you have to pay taxes and exchange transaction charges.

  4. How much Religare charge for futures?

    Religare charge 0.05% for equity, currency and commodity futures trading.

  5. How much Religare charge for options?

    Religare charges Rs 70 per lot for equity, currency and commodity options trading. Options are highly leveraged derivative products. Options trading is used in many ways including hedging or to reduce the risk exposure of the portfolio.

  6. How much Religare charge for commodity?

    Religare brokerage charges for commodity futures is 0.05% and commodity options is Rs 30 per lot. Commodities futures are agreements to buy or sell raw material (food, energy or metal) at a specific date in the future at a particular price. Commodity options contracts are the right to buy (call option) or sell (put option) underlying commodity futures at predetermined prices on the date of contract expiry.

  7. How much Religare charge for currency trading?

    Religare charge 0.05% for currency futures trading and Rs 30 per lot for currency options trading.

  8. What are transaction charges in Religare?

    Transaction Charges (or Exchange Turnover Charges) is a fee charged by the stock exchanges for trades done through them. Most brokers include clearing charges to it. These charges can be seen in the contract note.
